It depends on your condition and goals. After your initial assessment we'll give you an honest, personalised recommendation. For recovery from an injury, surgery or a hospital stay, most people need around 4–12 sessions. For neurological conditions (such as stroke or Parkinson's) and long-term chronic conditions, regular ongoing sessions often work best — helping to maintain mobility and independence, manage symptoms, and slow further decline. We'll always be clear about what we recommend and why, with no pressure to book more than you need.
Yes. For long-term conditions such as Parkinson's, MS, stroke recovery, arthritis and other chronic problems, physiotherapy isn't only about short-term recovery. Regular sessions can help you maintain strength, balance and mobility, stay independent for longer, manage pain and symptoms, and reduce the risk of falls. We tailor each programme to where you are now and adjust it as your needs change.
We do. Many of our clients with neurological or chronic conditions benefit from regular ongoing or "maintenance" sessions rather than a fixed block of treatment. These keep your exercise programme up to date, track changes over time, and help slow functional decline. We'll discuss a sensible frequency with you — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — based on your goals and budget, with no pressure to commit to more than you need.
Yes. Our stroke rehabilitation focuses on regaining movement, strength, balance and coordination, and rebuilding confidence with everyday activities. Whether you're recently discharged from hospital or living with long-term effects, we create a personalised programme to maximise your recovery and independence at home — across Dartford, Bexley, Greenwich, Gravesend and north Kent.
Yes. Physiotherapy is widely recommended for Parkinson's to help with mobility, balance, posture and walking, and to reduce the risk of falls. Regular home sessions can help you stay active and independent for longer and adapt your programme as your needs change. We work alongside your wider care team where helpful.
Yes. We provide home-based rehabilitation after operations such as hip and knee replacements, fractures and other orthopaedic surgery. We help you restore movement, rebuild strength, manage pain and return to normal activities safely — following your surgeon's guidance and progressing at the right pace for you.
Yes. Falls prevention is one of the most valuable things we do, especially for older adults and people with neurological conditions. We assess your balance, strength and home environment, then build a tailored programme to improve stability, confidence and safety — helping you stay independent and reduce the risk of falls.
